Title: Modern Quilting
Post by: arobwk on May 14, 2021, 07:48:35 pm
Shameless plug:  my son's book "Modern Quilting - A contemporary guide to quilting by hand" by Julius Arthur will be available a little later this month.  If this is your thing, head on over to houseofquinn.co.uk (or all good on-line bookshops or, very shortly, on-the-high-street).  My courtesy copy arrived to day - wow!  He has provided 4 very detailed illustrated "workshops" covering key techniques and 20 illustrated example projects including a variety of quilts along with other stuff based on similar sewing techniques.  The 20th illustrated project - the Landscape Quilt based on some photos I had taken in Ruan Lanihorne in Winter (one of my favourite Cornish scenic places) is now mine;  chuffed to bits!

More for folk in the SE of England, Julius also does actual hands-on workshops:  with covid restrictions being lifted, there will be some for real rather than on-line int' near future. Again head on over to houseofquinn.co.uk if interested.
I'm so shameless !
