Since the warm weather started a few weeks ago, my 11 month old lambs have started getting snotty noses. They would hide their heads together or up against the fence, twitch their legs and run around like crazy. As soon as it got overcast it would all go back to normal. Then in the cold snap the noses cleared up. Now we have the sun back, the noses are more snotty than ever. Presume it's nasal bots although the vet thought it was early for them. I am going to worm with Ivermectin but was just wondering if you can feed something e.g. garlic to deter the flies?

If they are due a fluke drench, a closantel based drench will sort the nasal bot issue (if it is an issue), and will mean you’re not using ivermectin when they aren’t needing wormed (which would speed up resistance).
