Title: sheep turn over crate

looking to buy one anyone use one what make /what do you think of it

All work fairly well for foot work even the old commodore scissor type , used an iron works for many years , very strong . Crates that turn the sheep on its side are good as you can do feet , dag tails / injections / dosing , check teeth etc

We had an ironworks one and found it to be heavy, especially when pure Dorset Downs were in it. Also, due to their shorter legs, the bars that were supposed to go under the belly, jabbed them instead. We did look at a different type that has 2 big circles on it but we didn't have the money to buy it. In the end, we managed to turn the sheep between us by hand (eventually crossing down the size to Dorset x Shetland - decent size, longer leg and lighter, but still able to lamb in winter).
