Title: Carpet cleaning - holiday let’s!

A simple question but one that causes some deliberation in the ghdp household!
We have holiday lets with carpet in the bedroom areas and despite polite reminders not to allow dogs in those rooms ( which we know-  impossible to expect )  we want to deeply clean our 80/20 wool mix carpets each week.
All during 2020 we steamed the carpets after hoovering but would like to do more as ( unwisely) we have light coloured carpets 😂
Does anyone have a recommendation for a hardworking carpet cleaner for us.

We have a Bissel pro heat something which worked well when our dogs were still around. You need to give it a really good hoover before to get the most you can up and then you need to do it again once its dry. I dont know how much a carpet is going to like weekly washing though.

If you're after the best it's probably a rug doctor but they are also fairly pricey

Yep. Probs go with a monthly clean and weekly steam on reflection. Will look at Bissell thanks.
