Title: Is this significant?
Post by: Fleecewife on March 08, 2021, 09:59:09 pm
Mr F noticed tonight that one of our rescue dogs has one eye which reflects green, and the other reflects red.  She is about 10 or 11. Both eyes appear the same and normal indoors.  We have not noticed this before in spite of frequently walking them in the dark.

From googling (which I am sure you did too), all I could conclude was that it might be normal for that dog, or not.  So if you think it's changed, I would say it would definitely be worth mentioning to the vet.

Possibly start of cataracts

Thanks both - as long as it's not some terrible condition!  Cataracts we can cope with, have done before.  I had wondered about that Annie.

So, we'll watch her closely and take her to the vet if there are other symptoms.
