Title: Pigs root field drains??
Post by: Russpig on February 19, 2021, 05:18:40 pm
I know most fields have drains etc and they are pretty deep.

Wondered if anyone has heard of pigs rooting deep enough down to field drains or even water mains?

Field drains can actually be surprising shallow so if you have old land drains and put pigs in a fairly small area they could potentially dig up your drains. Water mains are supposed to be a certain depth but again anything is possible.
