Just a heads up - I posted a review for our frost free tap a few years ago (https://www.accidentalsmallholder.net/forum/index.php?topic=28353.msg470716), and it still remains the most useful thing we've ever bought for the farm - it just works, and is ten times better than having to carry water out from the house for animals during winter.
Anyway, I was trying to explain the concept to a friend just now, and came across this one for sale on Ebay (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Woodford-Y34-yard-hydrant/274602152668) at the bargain price of just over £50 delivered. It requires a 3 ft bury depth, which is a bit more than usually required in the UK, so only buy it if you don't mind digging a really deep hole!
I have no connection with the seller, etc etc, but I'm sure somebody on here will snap it up quickly!
Cheers,
Womble.
