I thought we had lost a bantam a while back , no sign of feathers , a good search didn't find her either.
Imagine my surprise when this afternoon she wanders down the yard from goodness knows where with her brood of 11 chicks.
They,ve been rounded up and put in a spare run safe from the predators.
My luck they probably be cocks

What a wonderful surprise! It's good to hear about things like that in these difficult times. :chook: :excited:

Always great to hear when they do their own thing and manage to survive out in the scary world. Something we generally don't give them credit for.
Hope they are all good layers for you!

Congratulations I'm hoping that will happen with one of mine, but I would have thought she would have come looking for food.
