Taking our lambs for slaughter today.
Is this the right movement form?

Slightly sad as they were orphans that we bottlefed, but looking forward to the meat :)

Further question ;D
With the carbon copies you have a copy, one for te destination and one to send of etc.
With these, is it a case of printing more than one, so one can be sent off? one can be kept etc? If so how many and who gets one?
Cheers ;D

You need 3 copies so yes if getting off the computer you have to print 3 lots out.
One copy to slaughter house, 1 copy to the animal movement peeps and one you keep in your records. Up here in Scotland we send the form to SAMU but in England : White copy: Local authority of destination premises within 3 days of move; Pink copy: Destination; Blue copy: Haulier; Yellow copy: Departure. Thats 4 copies but I am assuming as you are taking them youself you dont need a blue one. If printed from the internet I would just write 'white copy' 'pink copy' etc at the top of each print.

You will also need a Food Chain Information form, declaring that the animals are outwith any with drawal period for any medicines.

Thank you all - postponed until next thursday, but at least we've got the right forms!!

It looked like the online version of the movement form (defra not scottish one) has the food chain bit included within it, on the front you confirm or otherwise that the food chain statements on the back of the form are fully complied with or tick other boxes if not compliant in some way. In scotland its a separate form, another thing to remember!

The abbattoir here have their own food chain info form which you download from their website.
