First heavy frost here this morning, just feels a wee bit early...Lost my parsley overnight and the ducks' bowls need hot water this morning! :&>

Noticed first frost on the cars in our street this morning - South London.
Need my ear warmer for the cycle to work!

Yip, frost lying in the shadows down at the farm where the horses are. i'm just back in to the house for a heat. Thankfully rugged up my old girl a bit more last night after reading the forecast. I could have been doing with your ear warmers Olly!

snow,hail,sleet and driving rain. its freezing. the old crofters are saying its going to be a worse winter than last year. i hope bamford is ok it was forcast for 4 inchs of the white stuff there.

the snow and frost missed us last night in buckie, been looking at the road side cams around scotland and there seems to be snow all over the place, rugged my big mare up last night, so glad i did

yup, light grass frost here in Devon. On a north facing slope, but still. Looks like winter may be early this year...

Yes  1/4" of ice on the buckets this morning and all the fields were completely white.

Beautifully starry though as I went out to milk this morning and it's been a great day since. Hope we get another one like it tomorrow  :)

Oh no, snow is a bit much yet!

Did you have a good day at Carlisle today? Didn't see you but what with racing between sheep and poultry rings and encouraging Dad to buy sheep, was a bit manic  :D

yes jay Kay got back at 8pm very cold here moving 200 bales to day bit stiff ,I would say the sale was up and dawn i looked at some nice silver wyndots they paid £65 next pen not as good £260 for these ,then the cross breads 3 blue bells £100 pound .Yes the ram i bought from sterling i have 50 ewes from my stock I'm making a 1 field of 50 and the ram to sell in spring as a 1 lot there are worth £200 each at the mo .So that's cash for spring i will sell the other 200 i have in late October at thainstone ,So it looks like breaking even for the 12 months so not to bad on the wether for Scotland .

VF - 3 bluebells for £100  :o .
       £12 each in Powys POL. Have seen them for less than this at times.

I dont get it pay for qualtey stock yes .For that 100 she could have had 6 light sussex from a qualtey breeder and still sell for 100 3 blue bells next yere £20 at best no breeding etc
