We were advised to routinely dose our ewes against liver fluke now and then later towards December/January. We opted to use Closamectin as it was available in a small pack in Winnstays. As we have only 11 to inject I opted to use a syringe and needle rather than injecting with one of those gun like applicators as there seems to be less wastage. Even though we got some larger-bore needles, we had a hell of job injecting the stuff because the stuff is so thick and viscous. Any suggestions or ideas appreciated - what products do people use? and how do you apply it?

Just read the small print as some fluke drenches shouldn't be used a tupping time.
