Can we start a new thread up with those invaluable tips for growing in a polytunnel?
Here's one:
Take a 6L plastic milk bottle and cut the bottom off. Remove the screw on lid and plant the bottle upside down in the soil next to the plant you are growing (just deep enough to keep it upright will suffice). Next time you water, water directly into the container. It will water the plant beautifully and not the ground next to it. Fewer weeds.

I grow flowers to attract bees and other insects into the tunnel for pollination and I NEVER use those horrible yellow sticky traps, which catch far more beneficial insects than pests. :bfly: :bee: :ladybug: :bfly: :bee: :ladybug:

My tip would be that polytunnels can soon become expensive. Look at what you need and then see if you can make it from recycled goods. E bay is an excellent source of cheap items as well.

A huge sheet of thick plastic and some conduit pipes from your local DIY store might be an idea. I was given plastic and my son and I hope to build one early next year.
