We took on two 6 week old lambs a week ago as companions for a pony. We noticed a yellow dried discharge a few days ago on both eyes of one of them and there may be a bit starting on the eye of the other. I’ve bathed them with warm mildly salty water to clean them up. Eyes themselves look OK. Might this be conjunctivitis or something else? All new territory so don’t want to miss anything sinister!
