Title: Smallholding number

Good morning all.  The previous occupant of our house delivered some documents yesterday and among them is a paper which is an Allocation of Holding Number, dated 2002.  Does this number remain on the property or does it have to be renewed?  The applicant was an earlier owner of the house and land.

In Scotland, the number is associated with the land but you shoudl notify Rural Payments about the change of owner.
