I still have a couple of white ryeland ram lambs for sale if anyone is interested. They can be registered if required.

I may be interested. My old tup is 8 years old. I put him out on Sunday. So far he has managed 2 out of 5. Am I being too impatient? I need to think about getting another one anyway for next year. When do you start put in young rams to work? Where are you situated and what sought of price are you asking? :)

My Tups have been in since beginning Sept. All girls have been marked up once, some have been marked again. Will leave Tups in until Nov. Some people use ram lambs and are successful (am using a new one myself)
We are situated about 10miles from Aberystwyth but are prepared to deliver at cost. Price approx £75., plus £15 to register. If interested can check no crossover in breeding lines if your stock is registered.

Now only have one white ryeland ram lamb left and 2 coloured ones, all can be registered. The price £60 plus registration of £15 if required. All from excellant bloodlines.
I need to sell these as land required for purchasing our house cow.

Would exporting them to France be really difficult? I know of a couple of people who are looking for Rylands. I dont think transport would be a problem its the paperwork....

If you could please pm Petunia I know she was looking for Rylands. :D

If you want to export sheep to France they must come from a scrapie monitored flock in the UK...........Sorry!
This is a right pain in the ### as to come the otherway its not deemed necessary!
To get all the paperwork right is a nightmare too, but if you contact Kanisha who posts here she will advise as she runs a company dealing with animals crossing international borders and has the lowdown, also ask your local animal health office/state veterinary service in GB

I'll put my spoke in. My flock are all scrapie monitored ( not after this year as has been stopped) They are all ARR/ARR (Top group) and if I keep a good eye on Mum's & Dad's groups or even grandparents in the future they should stay that way.

Bloomin heck Kaz...........go for it and sell some to France ;D
