Things will buck up matey. How the heck do you break your thumb & finger fishing?
-
I reckon he had gone home and was saying "The fish that got away was this big", flung his arms out to full stretch and hit one on a wall! ;D
-

last time at 9.00p.m.
it was dark well dark by now, my father in law had head lamps that fisher men use, do you fish?
any way the one he gave to me, well more light come out of my backside than that thing he gave to me and the one he had well you know your self!
after chucking it back to him i got me rod in hand and tackle box in hand making me way up rocks for last hour of fishing well next thing
my leg goes down into a massive gap between rocksw i put me hands out as you do and next thing crack! yep i heared them go boy was it sore.
well i was there with rod on top of me and tackle every where my fathere in law laughing his head of with this great big beam of light coming from his head,
when i got up and said i broke me thumb and finger he said nagh dont be stupid >:( >:(

OUCH!!!!! I have one of them head torches & as I was out checking the local river for crayfish it gave up & I ended up sat in three foot of really cold water
-
OW! sounds horrid.
keep your chin up mate, things'll get better (hopefully soon!)
will you have to move do you think? or just have the rent upped?!
as for goat tonic, try Brewers yeast in their water now and again - full of Vit B and goood for shiny coats. Having said that,we bought it when Margo was so poorly .... ours hate it and would sooner go thirsty than drink it! ::)
-
MIne get seaweed powder sprinkled on their sugarbeet - its wet so sticks to it and so gets eaten. Also now garlic powder again, I stoppped milking.
-
is it true that they cant have seaweed when pregnant? my mate gave me some, it says on the tub " Do not give to pregnant horses" ... I assummed it applied to goats too?!
-
When I tried to buy it in the local merchant I asked them to phone and ask the company selling it, as why not in pregnancy (to horses and goats) - they didn't know. Can't really see the reason as to why not... mine got it all the way through their pregnancy last year - no problems and healthy kids. It is only a wee sprinkle on, once a day at lunchtime (when they get their sugarbeet).
-
i would have thought it would be full of iron & therefore good for pregnancy?!
::)
-
I give my goats a little dried seaweed meal with their concentrate in the morning, and I fed it right through pregnancy to my mature GG doe this year, didn't get any problems and she had a beautiful set of triplets.
