Title: Lumps on face
Post by: ann_of_loxley on September 30, 2018, 07:47:19 pm
Two of my three lambs seem to have some lumps on their face and ears.  They are not huge lumps.  They are most certainly not abscesses.  In fact they just look like a few scabs.  But not brown...  I say that because I have been trying to google to see if I could work it out but it looks nothing like what I have googled at all!  It looks like a few scab like lumps...completely covered in their own facial hair.  So far, a few have come off.  It leaves clear skin underneath.  The lambs seem healthy otherwise (they are about 9 months old).  Just wondering what on earth it could be?
If it helps - I can try and get photos tomorrow!

Have a look at Dermatophilosis / lumpy wool / mycotic dermatitis  in sheep
