Post by: faith0504 on September 17, 2010, 08:37:20 pm
Attempted theft of three horses near Mennock Pass between Sanquhar and Junction 14 on the M74.
Early hours of this morning 14th Sept the Police were called and someone has broken the lock on the gate to get to them out, one of them doesnt load well and we think that is why they are still here
Horses found on the road and one of the horses has a cut on its leg.
Piles of droppings in a lay bye where an attempt has been made to load them
Please be aware and check your horses regularly

Incident number is PDG 0562820910

Will check that out, would be gutted if mine were taken.  One of my cobs has a wind plait, a pal thought it was a 'to steal' plait til I took it out and told her to watch him over the day, sure enough, by late afternoon, the wind plait, helped by his pal grooming him was on its way back.  They are annoying to get out though!
