Hi
Are you still wanting to pass the cockerel on?  I have sent you a private message as well.

The Woodsiders, are you looking specifically for a buff cockerel? I have two beautiful Orpington cockerels looking for a good home before I eat them - one is blue/splash, the other lavender - both huge but clearly no good for breeding if you have buff girls.

Hester,  I'm looking for a Buff Cockerel.... Its to manage my ex batts so not for breeding.  I just like the look of them and one would look lovely around the place with my various girls.  Do you have photo's of yours and where in Kent are you.  I am near Harlow.

Picture of my boys attached. The only worry I'd have for your ex-batts is that they are very big and I don't know whether they'd injure them whilst treading. I've got another Orp cockerel in with my mixed flock of egg layers and I do worry about the lighter hens amongst them. There's been no problem so far but bear it in mind.

I'm down near Ashford but happy to drive one up somewhere closer...
