Title: tastiest 'sheep' ever
Post by: shrekfeet on April 11, 2011, 09:12:35 pm
roasted up a whole shoulder of mutton yesterday. 6 hours on a rally low heat. The most tasty lamb I have ever eaten. Best thing that happned to 'Grumpy' too. She never liked me, was a crappy mother and had a bad udder. Best place for her!

How old was Grumpy? Dai (age 5) and a miserable git could end up going the same way.

I have a fantastic 24 hour slow cooked shoulder of lamb recipe. Feeds six to eight and you carve it with a spoon!!!

I love lamb shoulder.

Slow roasted mutton, spiked with garlic is unbeatable. Needs to be proper mutton though, at least three years old and hung for about a fortnight.
