Ours dont like raw beans, but will eat them blanched. I dont know if it applies to pigs but french beans shouldnt be eaten raw by humans.

HM, why shouldn't we eat them raw? I've been nibbling on mine during the summer - only a few at a time, though, not bucketloads :D
We picked our last lot yesterday to keep the beans for next year's sowing.

feed them raw, ours love them.
If you bring them into your kitchen the they can't be fed as have now been in your kitchen so illegal ,so option would be to cook outside which is going to a lot of effort for a few beans !

Mine won't eat them raw so cook them up on little stove in feed room. Love them cooked though.

Its only French beans as far as I know, I read it on the bean packet. I have no idea why they cant be eaten raw. It doesnt apply to runner beans (or at least no mention on the packet)

Damm Frenchies obviously putting something in their beans to stop the Roast Beefs eating them.

They have never forgiven us for Waterloo

Mine wont eat them raw. We have an old tar boiler we use for root veg too. Then mix in with dried food. They love it!!!
