Like the look of new forum Dan, but every time I tried to get on before today I got the upgrading message - last time was on thursday 23rd - Yet it appears to have been up & running since 12th - was I doing something wrong?

How'd you guess? - I take it TalkTalk are the problem then - why am I not surprised. ::)
Nice to see you too :wave: - I've been suffering from TAS withdrawal - kept trying every time I turned the pc on - tried going via TAS homepage, using existing bookmarks & googling the form - then today it just worked.

It may go off again - a few others have been having problems - Happy Hippy for one. Not sure if she is back on yet either ::) ::)

I'm with TT too and having exactly the same problem. How do you contact them to complain? Their forum is full of complaints about slow broadband generally, not getting on to specific websites. Will be amazed if this posting gets through - every time I tried last night I got straight back to that one line "upgrading the forum, back on 12 September" message. Driving me mad - Tamsaddle

I'm with TT too and having exactly the same problem. How do you contact them to complain?
I found a number for them on my TTaccount webpage (had to dig a bit), but I wouldn't bother - they don't seem to have a clue.
I'm trying to use Dan's tweak to modify the hosts file at the moment (as he's referred to in this thread):-

Yay I'm not alone! Blinkin' talk talk! Luckily our contract runs out soon & we're running to the (orange coloured) hills. Been missing this place!

Hi Folks,
this is for all you Talktalk people, I'm one.
Though I had problems getting on for the first day or so, I've had no problem since other than the awful erratic service we have here ( not too sure how much of this is talktalks problem)
I use Mozilla Firefox as my search engine - could this have made a difference?

I'm with talktalk too and despite complaining to them, using firefox and trying to reset my DNS servers nothing was working !
Advice from talktalk 'experts' - type the address directly into the address bar rather than using a bookmark ::)
Seems to be working........til the 11th when I change back to BT (so if I vanish you'll know why ;))
