We've dropped below 14 hours daylight this week so if you're working with natural light only the egg numbers should be starting to drop off, if they haven't already.
I use artificial lighting inside my sheds at night.
It comes on at 6am till 8am then 8pm till 10 giving them 16 hours light and 8 hours darkness.
Well worth doing if you want to keep the egg numbers up.

similar to mine, I have a small 12v solar panel, a car battery, timer and led lights

Dose it work well ? Wher did u get the timer from , and if u don't mind me asking how much did it all cost thanks

works very well, ebay for the solar panel and timer, panel was about £20 and the timer about a tenner
