Which much regret I am having to sell my grey face dartmoor sheep due to unruly dogs and their owners. I have 2 yearlings and 1 ewe with her week old ram lamb but I haven't a clue what the going rate is for this breed of sheep? The yearlings and ewe are all registered with the breed society and pedigree tagged.
Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Hi Ryan,
It wouldn't be unreasonable to charge £100 plus for the ewe with lamb, and more for the shearlings assuming they are well grown and well fleshed. It's a shame you have to part with them, my lot take no notice of the myriad dogs who come up and down the lane each day, but they are behind a fence! good luck.

Don't sell ......... Buy ! .......... A gun ........ put a sign up saying " dogs worrying sheep will be shot .....
Dogs "just playing" will also be shot ..."dogs that survive will be shot again"
I'm a dog owner but wouldn't tolerate them chasing my sheep.

Commercial in-lamb ewes are making 130+ depending on breed, So id charge a bit more than that for one with lambs at foot. Ewes are worth £80 quiddish, But I'm guessing GFDs are probably worth more than that.
