Or maybe toads.... My wildlife pond by the greenhouse is alive with them and loads of sporn... Look out slugs I have my army of helpers. :fc: :roflanim:

Lots here too and this morning I caught a muscovey duck eating one as I had my "wake up " tea. Yuck ! ::)

The 2 SPAWNS are totaly different so you should be able to tell what its from.
Frog spawn is clumps , Toad spawn is in strings

Yes a few crossing the road tonight in the rain. Have noticed that the toads like to walk more than frogs who hop a bit more, have seen hundreds on the road at night at certain times of the year when it is wet, small single track so not easy to dodge. Loads killed and none left in the morning something is being well fed.

It's their time of year ;)
First year lambing on the moorland farm, I did early shift and Sue did late shift. We'd leave each other notes about what had happened and what would need doing / checking. And, as the froggy lovemaking season evolved, we also used to leave each other updates on where and what had been happening frog-love-wise! :D
