I've already been browsing the online catalogue :innocent:
Only taking the dog cage so I can't buy anything bigger than a couple of ducks!
Starts 10am Saturday morning
-
Is it only poultry? No livestock?
-
Normally there is livestock but listed in a separate catalogue. Odd that there is no mention of it though.

Would love to go and have a look at the Kerry Hills, but it is an eleven hour round trip, so don't think I can manage.
-
Well I left a bid on 4 in lamb ewes and 2 hoggs, but I haven't had anyone from the mart office on the phone asking me to pay so I guess I didn't get them!
-
I was there, prices were not bad a sellers market I thought. I played to much for my two lots but if you want something you have to pay the going price.

Did you happen to notice what the Kerry Hills made at all? What did you buy?
-
Definitely a sellers market for poultry! Prices were on the high side for those but missed a few of the livestock cos I was too busy blethering but shetlands, jacobs and soays went for not much. There was a goatling went through but luckily I missed her too or I'd be in trouble when I got home.
There were a couple of llamas too, will check online tomorrow to see if the prices are uploaded yet
-
In lamb Kerry's made between £100 and £200, llamas made over £400 and the pigmy goat kid made £ 200
-
Seriously? That kid was cute but not thhat cute! What about the other goat?
-
I think it made about £50 £60 but not sure.
-
Trade well up good day out ;D
-
And the coffee and massive slabs of cake from teddys cafe!
-
Yes the friendliest sales going always has a good positive vibe about it from the people who sell and buy and the Mart staff.

Did anyone see how much the brinsea dx 20 incubator went for.
-
£70
-
I thought I had got the Kerry ewe hoggs as it says £70 on the report and I left a bid of £100, but in fact they were unsold.
-
I think the seller pulled the Kerry hills out as not enough money, I did not see my self as I was at the pens waiting to sell.
-
Yes, I believe they had a reserve of £150 on them. Which they may have been worth, but I didn't dare go any higher on something I'd not seen!
-
O have I got it wrong could have swore that there were in lamb Kerry's sold. We're there any cross breed Kerry's sold. The sheep I saw were all scanned in lamb most with twins. Or have I eventually completely lost it.
-
No you haven't! The same chap had 7 in lamb Kerrys and two Kerry ewe hoggs. I did leave a bid on 4 of the in lamb ones too, but they were well outside my budget I think.
