Title: Registrations
Post by: David @ Hector Blooms on May 11, 2013, 09:26:51 am
As I'm new to pig keeping (has only been a week), i registered with RPA initial and since that I've registered with eAML2 for receiving a movement, registered with a vet and AHVLA. Do I need to register with the BPA or any other organisation or authority?

Depends on whether or not you intend breeding and showing pedigree stock, if so you will need to register with the BPA but if you only intend keeping a couple of weaners to raise for meat then there is no need.  You can of course choose to join the society/keepers club of the pigs you intend keeping, this may be useful as a source of information if needed.
