Post by: zarzar on November 01, 2013, 09:46:09 pm
Hi all does anyone know of a scanner who would be prepared to scan 30ish ewes, we are based in chard somerset, also how long roughly after covering does everyone scan, as having a mixed flock this year would like to know whos carring what.

Ideally, you want to scan between 70 and 90 days of pregnancy and certainly not less than 55 days or more than 100 days.

That's what the tiny wee writing says - not earlier than 55days and not later than 100days, ideally between 70 and 90 days.

Our scanner does our dozen - she charges a flat rate then so much per sheep. Hopefully you'll be able to find someone locally.
