I will be realy intrested to know how you get on as i tried nettle wine last year and it looked great one everything it said and it was very dark but clear at the end and tasted absalutly rotten !!
I mke bramble,elderberrry,blueberry and bannana all with great succes but the nettle was just yuck !!
The wife actualy said to me the other day is 46 demijohns in your shed not to many lol silly woman

There is a Wilkinsons in Livingston centre that does home brew kit, also up this way Williamsons the Florist does a good range just off Jcn 3 M8

A Wilkinsons up here? I have not started on the wine or beer yet, nearly got all the stuff and a freezer load of nettles!!! I am amazed that shops have not caught onto the home brew stuff again like the 70's, they will do soon!!
