My last batch of BT male wethers went at 10 months and two killed out at just over 25kgs and the other one (which was one of triplets) was a little less at 21kgs.

As we don't officially sell  :innocent:, haven't got any prices per kg, but would start with joints at 10 - 12 pounds per kg (bone in for leg), and slightly less for cubed and mince. We now do our own butchery on our dining room table...

A local butcher killed some and had a sign outside saying goat meat was £12.99 per kg.  Another butcher charges a lot less.  He was bemoaning the fact that goats are a lot smaller than lambs - he said 20kg was good.

I was allowing £120 for a whole butchered goat. It is expensive meat, largely because it has very little fat, I think.

The Scottish goat meat company are online, cant keep up with demand at £23/kg for diced and £31 per leg etc.
Our nearly 6m old kids just came back at 17, 19 and 20kg and we were very pleased. We had one at R3L and 2 O3L, and the smallest was a triplet.
