So, you can do pics in the post now

As for avatars - I can only do that via Photobucket.
So, you go to your profile, then modify profile. The top bits then are about your avatar. Use the bit that says 'specify an picture by URL' or something similar, this time instead of copying the IMG code from Photobucket, you copy the 'direct link' code into that box, and hey presto, an avatar

Gardenjeannie, do you mean the emotiocons like these

If so they should showing above the box that you respond in. You then just click on the ones that you want to use and they get inerted into your response where your cursor is.
