Straw in your boots
« on: March 08, 2021, 04:35:48 pm »
I usually wear wellingtons outside and I frequently get straw, hay and sometimes other debris in them. This sticks to my socks and itís a bit of a palaver taking them off and ensuring Iím not bringing the contents into the house. Apart from pulling my trousers or overalls over the boots, which is not always appropriate if itís very muddy, are there any other solutions?

Overtrousers which you take on and off with the boots :)
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

i wear over trousers most of winter for this very reason ..... as weather warms in spring and I start to not put them on .... I remeber why I've been wearing them!

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.
