posted by a friend of a friend!...Still hope they fare well on the east coast..

chatting to friends in Philadelphia and its windy and wet but not terrible yet, they're trapped there in a hotel and the hotels preparations consist of supplying each room with a couple of the long life chemical lights in case the power goes out...


as far as they're concerned they'll be fine as long as the internet holds up

The NOAA storm surge maps are talking about 100% probability that there will be a 10ft storm surge all the way up to New Brunswick.

this is seriously going to affect the politics of usa, they havent even rebuilt new orleans yet. nor haiti. how they can rebuild after this god knows.
