Hi there

Just come in from outside after sorting out the animals and saying goodnight to each and every one when I stopped short in amazement and did a double take as I thought I heard a Cuckoo. But I was not mistaken as sure as eggs are yummy I heard it again. I was totally astounded as surely this is far to early?? I kept listening just in case the G & T I had earlier was larger than the normal treble I normally quaff but no there it was again.

Are Cuckoos normally around so early?? I know we live in the middle of France and the sun has shone most of the day making it seem ever so spring like but really a Cuckoo on the second day of April!!!

Is it normal ????????????
