2.5 scale Quake  hit Ludlow area this afternoon , Pehaps Clee Hill  volcano is waking up !

Yes , apparently quite a few people felt it , ( and the earth quake ) :-J
Got friends at clee hill said it was quite strong.

Titterstone Clee Hill can have strong (vi) earthquakes (on average one every 50 years), with occurances at 5-6 Richter. When a strong earthquake occurs, it will most likely be felt by everybody; people may be frightened and run outdoors, walk unsteadily. Windows, dishes, glassware may be broken, books fall off shelves. The damage will be slight. Flooding risk is very high. There is a low chance of cyclones hitting Titterstone

We had a goodun in Wales in 1984ish , it was 8.4 .
8 in the morning , it scared the crap out of me ! 
But what got me was since when has England been a region in the country of the United Kingdom ? Was the link an EU one ? ;-)

Yes it's a foreign site,  I like the high flood risk bit , thats Shropshire and surrounding counties wiped out then  .

The amount of rain we've had today, we're likely to be flooded anyway.   ;D   fortunately I live at the top of the Ironbridge Gorge so should be fairly safe.
