Well we finally completed on the land so I guess I am now officially a small holder (all be it very small) 3 acres  ;D

You'll be amazed what you can do with 3 acres though - just takes careful planning ;D

Congratulations.  I had a friend who when selling her house suggested the estate agent advertised it as with large garden . Large garden, said he, with half an acre its an estate. 

So congratulations on your stately home.  I hope it will give you much pleasure and few problems.
