Importing from UK

Have thought about importing some pigs from the UK, ideally some GOS,have been on the web site and there are some close to the ports for the ferry.
Would like to hear from those who have done this what is involved ie paperwork and red tape etc.

Or better still anyone got some for sale

Sorry Ben,
Butting in on your thread, I too would be interested in any advice on importing, also seen somewhere that there is a company who does it for you- was it keythorpes or something like that.

So all you pig keepers in the UK please help us continue the rarer breeds in France.

Bon chance

I have the address of the people who are planning to bring a load across later this month - Keythorpes.  Any use I can pm it to you.
