Can pigs eat tomato plant foliage /stems

I have read differing opinions on this.

We are cutting down lots of tomato plants at the moment and if the pigs can eat them then so much the better. Some people say they are toxic, others say their pigs eat them with impunity (I will sprinkle a little impunity on top if necessary).

Anyone have any advice on this?

NO!
the stems etc are poisonous.
They are in the genus (family) Solanum... like potato and Deadly nightshade - and you wouldnt feed them that!

People whose pigs eat them with immunity might not keep their pigs long enough to notice the effects which will build up slowly.
