Kitchen Section at the show
« on: July 20, 2017, 06:57:02 am »
Made some lovely (IMO) blackcurrant and thyme cordial,  was thinking there maybe  a class at the show for homemade drinks that are alcohol free..but only a fruit or herb liquer class.  For someone teetotal that is tricky!!

And as for my blackcurrant vinegar......

Being a non-drinker of alcohol too, I think that would be a great idea.  The more uses we can have for our fruit gluts the better.  Cordials and concentrated fruit drinks are perfect for children - they don't drink alcohol either.

[member=13]Rosemary[/member] what would the official view be on that?

The official view would be that we try to rotate classes year onyear and we had a cordial class last year  :)
