raspberry stupid question!
« on: May 18, 2017, 09:36:08 am »
Hi folks, we've got container grown raspberries to plant out. What I'm not sure of is, do we plant the whole contents of the container (about 6 canes) in one planting position, or do you separate out each cane in the container and plant individually?
thanks

However you want really  :)

If you plants them together you are gonna have one thick bush. If you plants them separately you will have 6 bushes which will spread even more with time. I would personally plant them out in a distance from each other.
Growing loads of fruits and vegetables! Raising dairy goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits on 1/2 acre in the middle of the city of Leicester, using permaculture methods.
