Noooo! you can't do that!!  We all want to know what's in it now. The curiosity is killing me!  :roflanim:

Open it. Look for invoice, hopefully a phone number of the true owner and to judge if it's tat for the bin or worth taking somewhere. You're opening it with the good, moral intention of finding the rightful recipient.

Worst case, claim ignorance. I order loads of stuff online and have accidentally opened mail not addressed to me.

Plus, we need to know what's in the box!

If worried you could video you opening it to show you haven't done anything untoward with the contents.

Google the name and town/village name. They may have got part of postcode wrong and autowhatever just picked your address?
When I've searched for someone it usually comes up with a '192' website, that gives you postcode and names.
Worth trying?

I look on this brilliant website most days as there is always something new to learn or interesting to read about. Now, I am only checking on here everyday to find out what's in that box!  :roflanim:

I'm hoping the OP's lack of response hasn't anything to do with the box contents..... :-\

OK am opening it now!! It's a very pretty silk frock and I have just realised that the postcode is wrong, a d instead of a b so, mystery over and I can send it to it's rightful owner!!
