Anyone coming to Wonderwool this year?

If you are I'm taking one of my angora does and her twin kids to the Crafty Goat Club Stand R13 Hall2 so come and say hello and have some goaty fuss.

I had planned on going but our daughter and grandchildren want to come for the weekend - the only time they could make it - and we haven't seen them this year yet so Wonderwool will have to wait.

Oh that's a shame Lesley, can't you persuade them it would be a great day out.

Look forward to meeting anyone who comes.

I think they would take far too much convincing. Kathy (that you met when I visited) and I were hoping to find a B&B and make it a two day trip this year as well. Oh well, gives us more time to save up.

Oh well it'll be an even more needed trip by next year.
You can always come over for the day sometime over the summer if you like.

I'd love to and I'm sure Kathy would as well. We both went home green with envy of your lovely place and saying that's the sort of place we would love to have. (It's a standing joke that when we both get fed up with our OHs, we are going to get a smallholding together).

Later in the summer we'll arrange a day.

It was a fantastic weekend at WW, spent all day talking about the goats.
The doe was brilliant being fussed and petted, shouting for treats every time she saw or heard me come back from a break.  Even the kids had started to get tamer by Sunday afternoon.

We won a certificate for the best trade stand in the livestock section, but no competition really the others had sheep who didn't want to be stroked and fussed and didn't talk back (the sheep that is, the owners were lovely people).  Always knew goats were more sociable. :goat:

Well done. Wish even more that I had been there now. I suppose it does give me more time to save up.  ;D
