CHERRY MARANS

Hi All
I purchased a poultry set up saturday,when i asked the seller what type the birds are she told me cherry maran + buttercup. Ive heard of buttercups but not cherry marans,has anyone got/kept them ?
what are they like ?
5 Dogs,5 cats,40 chickens,2badger faced sheep + a full freezer

I believe they are a Marans hybrid, bit like the speckldy is to the Cuckoo.

They are a hybrid.
pygmy goats, gsd, border collie, scots dumpys, cochins, araucanas, shetland ducks and geese,  marrans, and pea fowl in a pear tree.

I have looked online but cant find anything about them and no one i know has kept them or sold them  ???
