Weaving - Texsolv heddles

does anyone on here use texsolv heddles?

If so are yours cut apart or do you leave them strung together?

From everything I have read it seems to be 50/50 as to whether you cut or not but I am conscious that once cut they can't be put together again.

I have only done a couple of small pieces on my new loom so far and the heddles are still strung together but it is a bit of a nuisance when warping up.

My new loom came ready assembled from the Handweavers Studio, and the heddles were all cut apart. I haven't used it yet, and it will be my first experience of texsolve heddles as my old loom had metal ones. However, I would have thought that having them all separate would make moving them, separating them etc, much easier.

My new-to-me floor loom came with most still attached, I cut them apart. As you say it's easier when moving and threading.
I couldn't see any advantage to them being together.

Thank you both. I think it time to cut mine :-)
