What a morning! ::)

Had a wakeup call from phone and looked out of window, noticed a strange shape and as it turns out calf in mud. Ran outside scooped it out of mud with brother, it was standing up in it, and covered in it ourselves washing and drying calf down. All is well now, mum and baby bonding and doing fine, will go out into building and check on them both. By the time we'd finished we looked that muddy it looked like something out of a horror movie!  :roflanim: we have 2 more gonna calve today, am keeping beady eyes on them. It is a beautiful heifer! :) pics later on twitter and FB, will link em to here. Now just to keep eye on them and will be bottle feeding her in an he, as she hasn't been near udder so can't risk losing her in meantime.
