I have two favourite crochet stitches - one is very similar to granny squares but instead of three double crochet stitches per hole you only do one - looks more 'on trend' less 'granny' (sorry grannies). The other stitch actually looks like knitting but its great for cowls - single crochet into the back of the stitch and I have far too many WIP projects for my own good  :innocent:.

I do like crochet, & was taught by my mother. I still need to perfect a few things though, But I've just completed my 1st ever blanket after years of meaning to finish it, will upload some pics when I can x

I feel I have to join in this one - my oldest WIP is also an embroidery bought when my two were still in primary, so about 25 years - I even took it on holiday last year  ;D. I will finish it as its one of my favourite Primavera Tapestry kits in oranges and lemons. One of my (only) NYRs was to finish all WIP before I started anything else - hence why I'm sewing quilt tops at the moment.
