Anyone into macro photography?
« on: December 17, 2016, 10:33:50 pm »
To save me registering with a photography forum, am wondering whether any TAS members are well into macro (or extreme close-up) photography.  I have a few questions, particularly about extension tubes.  I won't iterate right now, but ... any one?

Sorry, nothing closer than ordinary close-ups.

My OH is pretty good when it comes to photography so there's more than a good chance he can help. Currently in the middle of moving house so might not be able to get back to you straight away, but please do ask, drop me a message. Even if we can't help we know a lot of people who can...

Thanks Fleecewife for letting me know.  I'd sort of gathered you were into photography to some degree  (but clearly not the macro end).
And to Somewhere_b_t_r:  I was in the process of drafting a message to you, but it required some very careful thought about how to explain my quandary and, in the process, I actually self-discovered the answer.  Thank you most kindly though for offer of assistance from your OH, but I won't be testing his knowledge after-all.  (Hope all goes well with the house-move.)

Warning:  I now know who to ping if any further phot' Qs :) :)

All the best

If Somewhere by the river's OH can't help, I am a photographer by profession and happy to answer any questions ????
