... to the seasons? One of my apple trees is full of fruit but has blossom just opened.

I have no idea..... the weather has been so weird lately. A lot of the hedgerow fruit has shrivelled

The danger is that the frost tcould then kill the tree, as trees are really supposed to be going into hibernation about now.

I have one elder tree and one bramble who regularly have berries and blossom at this time of year, I don't know why!

That explains the crocuses but I've never seen blossom this late in the year before. Good to know I'm not alone though.
