Hi We are relatively new to keeping pigs and would like to know if anyone knows if it is ok to feed Kune Kune crab apples and cooking apples.

You can give them a few (no more than about 1lb per day) with their usual feed - I wouldn't give too many in case it upsets their digestion or causes scour and be careful if they have any signs of rot - they can ferment and cause stomach problems.
Introduce one or two at next feed and see what they make of them  ;)

Ok Thanks for the advice we would not want to make them ill.

Be careful on size - pigs are greedy and as fond of sweet things as we are.  A whole apple that will fill the mouth of a growing weaner can get stuck and cause a lot of distress before it goes down.  I cut up anything going to a pig less than 6 months old.
