The Committee were asked by the membership to hold more Knowledge sharing days spread around the country for people to gather together and talk goats and share experiences and knowledge. Avril and Phil Wooster kindly offered to hold an event at their farm in Okehampton Devon. The date has been set for Sunday 24th July and the itinerary for the days is as follows:

Arrive 10am..tea/coffee biscuits
10.30- 12.30 Tour farm and goats, (bring wellies), questions etc
 12.30.- 1.30 Lunch
1.30- 2.30 Talk on Charcuterie and questions
2.30- 3.30 Talk on tanning and questions
 3.30- 4.00 Tea/coffee, cake
4.00 Goats in for tea! Watch the mayhem!!

NB: Phil and Avril have requested that NO DOGS be taken to this event.

Sarah Mills from Parsonage Farm, www.parsonage-farm.co.uk, will be presenting the talk on charcuterie at Avril & Phillip Wooster’s event. Sarah and her husband John have been involved in making charcuterie for some time now and her enthusiasm for the subject and knowledge makes for a very interesting talk.

Should you wish to attend please do let us know by Monday 6th July. There is a £5 charge to cover the buffet lunch provided which is payable by Paypal on our website. Please pm me should you wish to attend
